A1 CRUISE JOBS insist that professional Artistes appearing on-board ships are squeaky clean and they do not tell racist or sexist jokes. It is therefore vital that Artistes do not breach the guidelines given below, as such performances should not contain any material covering the subjects listed.
Racist Material - No comments
or jokes about any ethnic or religious groups. This includes derogatory gags and jokes about any nationality.
Sexist Material - comments or jokes, containing sexual remarks, anything demeaning or insulting.
Negative Tourism Material - comments or jokes about airline or cruise ship safety, comments or jokes demeaning the clients company, or highlighting any potential negative aspect of their product.
Defamatory Material - comments or jokes bringing a person’s or organisation’s reputation or skills into disrepute or ridicule.
As stated above the guidelines are very strict and must be adhered to. If at any time an Artiste is unsure of the suitability of any of their material they should contact A1 CRUISE JOBS and seek advice or speak directly to The Cruise Director or cruise line representative on board.
